Dreams do they come true?

Well I am back! Did you think I went missing, well I didn’t I just became very over whelmed with my dreams! Yes I said DREAMS , I can become over zealous with things like hooking, washing wool, retreats, family, new Diggs, & my young-ins !!! Yes I have some new babies but these one love me no matter what and they just want to be taken care of so it is a lot of fun!!!! Now I will tell you their names: there is Steve the Alpaca he is 15 weeks old & Patch his Mama she is staying for the summer then we will be sending her back as Steve has to nurse for 6 months. Then there is Edward the Angora rabbit he was brought here from Ontario and we gave him a home with a view! Then there are the boy’s my lamb’s Cotswold one chocolate-brown his name is Ernie and one white one and his name is Bert, the Westport students had a contest and they named my lambs and then the Seniors were given the privilege of picking the name! So now you know why I have named this post “DREAMS DO COME TRUE” .

Life is not always easy but it is how you approach it, you can either have a why me attitude or you can say well how can I grow from this experience and become a stronger, kinder, and  caring person. With all of my life experiences I have learned God and I are in control and we can do anything we want if we set our minds, body and spirit to it!

I have a great Mother and Father yes we had issues but so what, who hasn’t we are all human, but you move on and love and forgive because you have no idea what the next hour holds! I have a wonderful husband who does a lot of things and really expects nothing in return wow, That is awesome in itself…. need I say more my favorite saying is this “it is what it is, get over it and move on!” My son well we have had the best of the best and the worst of the worst but you know what I would not trade him for all the wool in Australia, he is the sparkle in my sunshine and I love him with all my heart!

So I guess what I am trying to say is this life can give you some lemons make lemonade, always look for the positive thing you can do in it or how you can grow from this growing experience! We only go through this world once so make it count :) & make a difference….. Well I must go and  feed the babies ttyl

I guess I am writing this because if you think you have it tough stop a minute and realise that life is short and enjoy what you have and know there is a light at the other end of the tunnel, TTYL From the Happy Hooker on Brier Island

  1. Nice message. Inspiring to know that some dreams do come true! I just checked out pics that Pam Haight sent me from her trip there this past weekend. She’s our new Experiences person at Digby. It looks awesome. Great work and best of luck in the future.
