Lambing has started

Well hello everyone how is your day going? Mine has been just wonderful! I was talking to a friend of mine up at the Gaspereau Wool farm and their lambing season has started today triplets were born and they were all black these of course are my favorite breed Cotswold so you can just imagine how excited I am :) well I can barely keep myself grounded as at least one of these will be mine and then I will be getting a white one, this will be the start of my herd yes you heard me right I am having my own herd of Cotswold and I can not wait to have them here on the Island. I hope to have them arrive the middle of June if things go right so keep looking for updates here or on my face book. I am going to have some pictures hopefully in a few weeks so you can see the little ones. Also there could be another surprise in the works but we will not know about this one for at least a month or so!!!

Well I hope you have been busy hooking and getting ready for rug school in Truro as I still haven’t been able to make my mind up about a pattern I have a few that I want to do and I have to narrow it done to just one, we know how hard that one is to do so it still may take me a week or to yet to make that final decision….

I have also been in the dye pots again and making new formulas, I hope to have a book of my favorite formulas and some patterns in it, also recipes from my retreats, and other little inspirations.

Well I hope many of you have had a great Easter and time with the Family, now it is time to pass on a good deed to someone and do not tell just pass it on and just see how good it makes you feel:)

Have a great day and will ttyl VICKI

  1. Our family went to Brier Island one week ago, and we fortunately met Vicki and her delibrate shop, which was just opened a day ago. Vicki is a so nice lady, not only in showing how she handled the old-history spinning wheel, but also telling us the history of the small island and the source of every interesting item in her shop. We all enjoyed the time spending with this all way smiling lady, and we wish everyone should go and meet her and her shop, leaving with a great momery. Thank you Vicki!

    • You are so kind Pippen, I want to thank you for taking the time to come in and look around and share with me about my history here on Brier Island
